We met some friends here for dinners and were pleasantly surprised. It was better than expected. We ordered the linguine and the ribs. Beware that the portions are huge so make sure you are hungry when you go here. The pasta was very good but you will need a bit of time to get through it all. My partner finished off the ribs saying they were not a taste sensation but definitely not too bad at all πŸ˜€ Staff were very friendly and food arrived quickly

Spent most of my evening here before and during the quiz, but immediately after the quiz was asked for ID (I'm 25) and asked to leave as I have UK ID and I don't carry my passport with me when I drink. Sour end to the night. I was there for four hours and served by other members of staff who believed I was over 18. Consistency between staff would be good. If you're over 18 and under 30, bring your passport as ID...or go elsewhere...otherwise a nice place.

Rolled in for some lunch n suds after a long day of walking around the city. Really nice place with lots of seating & a huge welcoming patio. Super clean & modern WC. Food was fantastic I had the full order of fish n chips. Fish was lightly battered (not like some pubs that that wrap the fish in batter so thick it like a pizza crust) huge helping if crispy chips & a nice side salad. Delicious and filling. Suds were cold & really hit the spot. A nice afternoon spent on the patio with mates. Only picture I took was of the wee trough in the WC. Don’t have them here in Canada. πŸ˜ŽπŸ€“

There were some okay beers here and the price wasn't bad but why hire a bartender that doesn't drink and has no idea what the beer selection or anything for that matter tastes like?? Bartender A said, "I don't drink so I can't tell you what anything here tastes like". The other bartender also had no clue what the beers were like, "I don't really like beer". Strange. The service though, was excellent! I liked the staff, they just had no clue. It's no real reflection of them but instead the hiring manager!
