  The best place to come to in Palmy. friendly staff and good beers etc. Weekend nice live band.

  Service is excellent, surroundings are very pleasant and food is generally good. Not impressed with last nights meal - all 4 of us had a mediocre impression of the food. My lamb was well presented but tough. Will return but hope for a better meal quality. Good wine selection.

  Sadly disappointed, this use to be our favourite restaurant. Now there a huge wait to get a meal where only a third of your plate has food on it and if I'm getting one of these arty meals I expect the food to be fantastic favours, which it wasn't. The protein was tough and somewhat dry. The in-house entertainment is loud and intrusive. Forcing everyone to talk loudly. So its a very noisy environment with mediocre food that you have to wait just over an hour for!!! Very Disappointing. We will never back till it changes

  While the service is friendly and the snack menu is good, the kitchen really dropped the ball on this one. After a significant wait (on a Tuesday, even) we were presented with food that just doesn't measure up. The only thing provided in any quantity was rice, which unbalanced the meals. $33 for a 'rare' venison meal produced a bland and severely overcooked meal. If the menu says rare, you should not be served a well done piece of meat. At that price, you also expect more than the small portion that was provided. The pork meal was better, but came with heaps of rice and not as much of everything else. The meat was dry, and the flavours were underdeveloped. Also, there was a hair in this dish. Props to the chef for creating a vegan meal, but it was also bland and oddly bitter. I'm left with the impression that the chefs just don't understand or care about their ingredients, as both the food and the customer deserve to be treated with more respect. For the price and for the unacceptably long wait, it just isn't worth it to eat here. Stop by for a drink, maybe a snack if you have the time to wait, but avoid if you're looking for good food. Palmy has better to offer!

  This used to be our favourite Restaurant. Nowadays we won't be going back till it changes. Over priced plate of protein with 2 little leeks the size of you pinky, 2 small baby carrots and 2 Ravioli the size of a 10 cent piece with a little squirt of puree parsnip. And no offence to the live singer. But my partner and I went to have a nice meal and talk... everyone was yelling to talk over the singer.... Get the hint and put quiet background music on!!
