Nice atmosphere, good service but food was mediocre at best. Found a hair in the apple crumble.

Had my dinner at Reading Cinemas Gold Lounge last catered by this restaurant last night. Chose the fried chicken and chips which tasted slightly off but my friend said hers was fine so continued eating. Spent the entire Avengers Infinity War movie and the rest of my night with stomach cramps and have spent all of today vomiting my insides out. Can’t comment on their customer service side but this is my first time having food poisoning so can’t say i’ll ever eat or recommend this place again!

5 stars for the best ribs in town so far. Ribs were huge, fall off the bone meat very tender, succulent and just mouth watering. Atmosphere was fantastic staff friendly and didn't take long to receive our food. A must visit again definitely. Awesome Steer and Beer keep up the great work.

Food was okay, came out quick but could tell no real thought had been put into it. Bbq sauce tasted like it was straight out of the bottle and the whole ordering from the bar thing makes it seem like the stuff don't care. Overall probably wouldn't go back

Update 2 years later - went back again because I felt like ribs and wings. As above, it was good once.. maybe it is back to being good? Yeah, nah... Don’t even bother. Ribs were slimy and cold - the only decent tasting part was the sauce which was used sparingly. Chips were also cold. Chicken wings were good, but the seeming lack of f**ks given by their staff has put me off for good. Next time I want wings/ribs, I’m going to go to mama brown if I’m in the city, or uncle mikes if I’m in the Hutt valley. Goodbye to a once great steakhouse - the earthquakes just put the final nail in your coffin for me. Initial review - mid 2015: A restaurant at approximately 10% capacity, and turning people away. Great way to do business. Past experiences were good hence 2 stars instead of 1
