  Charming motel right off the coast and with spectacular views of the Pacific ocean. Very close to the National Aquarium and within walking distance of the art deco area. No room service or elevators to be found though.

  Stylish comfortable spacious room with good sized balcony overlooking the sea front. We loved the motel wthe location by the sea and close to the centre. The WiFi seemed a bit slower than some other places and I resorted to my own data at times but otherwise fantastic.

  Our mid-February stay here coincided with for the start of Napier's 'Art Deco' weekend. The town was immersed in the `30's. Historic cars and their owners dressed in period were everywhere. It was Napier's annual spotlighted weekend. Needless to say when I was trying to book lodging months in advance, there was nary a place to stay. I was lucky to book the last room facing Marine Parade ... an 'Executive Suite' at the Nautilus Hotel. The property is a bit dated, but our room was spacious and comfortable. It had a large balcony with ocean and parade views. Even better, it had a large Jacuzzi style spa which more than fit the both of us just fine. As this was our first time in Napier AND we had no idea of the goings on for 'Art Deco' weekend, we were glad the staff filled us in on all the particulars. They were most accommodating and made our stay at the Nautilus even more special. I would love to come back to Napier. When I do the Nautilus Hotel will be on my 'A' list.

  Much cooler than I anticipated, especially for the price. Staff are friendly, utilities work well, place is clean and comfortable. Views are spectacular!

  Fantastic stay here over the Christmas period. Great location adjacent the city centre and opposite the beach and walkway. Room was superb, with balcony, seaview, and very well equipped. Highly recommended
