  So happy that I found Urban Yoga during my sabbatical in Wellington! Walking into the studio felt like leaving the bustling city behind. During daylight hours students look onto greenery. During darkness the studio is lit by candles and low lights. The instructors are kind and nonjudgmental, and encourage students to stay within their limits yet challenge themselves, So the whole experience was uplifting and positive. Walking out of Urban Yoga I felt stronger, calmer, and more compassionate than when I'd walked in.

  I love attending Sarah's classes at urban yoga, they are often the most relaxing part of my week! Always come out feeling renewed and at peace. I'd highly recommend urban yoga for those looking for peace and reflection in their week.

  Sarah and all of the other great teachers at Urban Yoga turned us from absolute beginners into confident yogis! We are now hooked and can't imagine life without yoga. Great sense of community in the studio with no fuss. Sam and Helene

  What an amazing studio! Love this place! Have been attending their classes for the last 2 years and am always very impressed by the quality of their teaching. Classes are always original and really well thought through. Amazing instructions, always inspiring, great community. Best yoga studio I've ever been to!

  After scouring central Wellington for a yoga studio that met my wishes for style, aesthetic, and feel, Sarah's Urban Yoga studio has left me full of joy and gratitude after each session I have there. She has created a beautiful studio on the middle or the city and has collected a group of instructors and classes that I have found to be diverse and wonderful. My favourite is her Restorative class, and her Level 1-2 classes are always the right mix of challenge and quiet. Sarah, especially, does an incredible job creating ease, enabling people to feel capable and competent, wherever they are in their experience and practice, but also guided to stretch and grow, sinking more deeply in to the experience. Classes at Urban Yoga has been one of my happiest discoveries in the past year!
