  A pleasant quietly picturesque hour or so spent exploring the area by foot. Flat track, wide enough for two people, but also easily cyclable. Part of a much longer 21km section of the Te Araroa Trail. As it got warmer there were an increasing amount of wasps flying about.

  Lovely walk with lots of birdlife, you can continue on over the river bridge to Paraparaumu if you are feeling very energetic. Or go to the next bridge up the river to the cafe.

  Beautiful place to see the sunsets. Bird life amazing. Great walks. White baiters.
