::Iconic venue for a great pub meal and good selection of drinks. A little bit of NZ political history tastefully decorates this venue. Worth the visit if you are up that end of the city.

::Average pub, nothing special. Although it was quiet when we were there, we had to wait to be served as the staff were elsewhere. We mainly went there to see the puppets of politicians. I guess it has more atmosphere when it is busier. We just had drinks, which were on the expensive side, but we found that was common in NZ.

::Decent food. Love the artwork around the place. Close to parliament for you tourists. Love how the menu is all referenced to local and former politicians. Definitely worth a try

::The vibe was nice but absolutely donβt recommend the food. Dishes presentation look similar and the taste is very very ordinary.

::They got off to a rocky start with rather burnt toast in the toast and dips starter which they didnβt offer to replace. However the amazing Toffee Apple drink our kids shared gained them back those point, kudos for having a nice innovative non-alcoholic drink. Meals were good and the deserts were even better (particularly the rich chocolate tart) so 5 stars it is.
