::Their bikes are poorly assembled and of poor quality. Many bikes on the shop floor have damage to the frames or flat tyres and then get ridden around in-store by customers damaging the tubes and tyres. I spent an hour and a half in store while they tried to fix the poor assembly job on the bike I wanted to purchase. In the end they gave up because the bolt holes were threaded and the bike was essentially ruined. Waste of my time but I suspect it is a good thing as I can buy a better bike elsewhere that will cause less issues over it's lifetime.

::Loads of different bikes. Bikes to suit everybody and different price ranges. They sell bike accessories too. Friendly knowledgable staff that aren't pushy.

::Attentive service from the people at Bike Barn Wellington. They listen to customers and suggest the best options that match the budget. We were so excited about the bike we left the bag of accessories behind. They kindly kept it for us to collect later. Highly recommended.

::Terrible Service. My husband and I went there because he had a voucher he was given when he bought an expensive bike there and he wanted to find out how much credit was on the voucher card. The person who served him had to ask the manager how to do it. The manager looked it up and then proceeded to tell us that the voucher had no credit. But my husband was sure it had credit. The manager was not able to resolve this and gave us no options for resolving it. Instead he said there was nothing he could do. So we left the store VERY unsatisfied. Then I looked up on the Bike Barn website to see whether or not you can look up voucher credit on there. I found out that you can and I was successful in doing so and the voucher had credit of $35... So then we went back to the shop to inform the manager that the voucher had credit and that I looked it up online. He did NOT apologise and did not acknowldge the blunder. And when I quizzed him about looking it up online he said, he didn't have time to find out about these things. Seriously!! In the first instance he could have said, "I am sorry but I can't help you with this here, but if you want to contact our head office to see if they can help, here is the phone number...." but instead he didn't own up to his mistake and didn't offer any assitance which left us feeling unsatisfied and frustrated at the terrible service. In the future we will not be shopping at this store and I urge others to do the same...
