::The receptionist seems rude and not very good at her job. I spent over an hour on hold trying to book my appointment, and got cut off twice during this time. My doctor is lovely, but I'm still quite unimpressed with this place.

::Can run behind so get an appointment early in the day. Good doctors practice.

::I have been to City GPs twice and both times completely met my expectations of a good practice. The practice itself looks nice and modern. The receptionists are all really friendly and competent, and so were the two doctors that I have seen. They listened to my problems and took everything I said into consideration, and I didn't feel rushed through the appointment at all.

::I was treated with kindness and respect from the reception to the doctors office. They were absolutely good and I am satisfied as a patient as much as I could be.

::I am really unimpressed by the standard of service and care you give to your patients. The Doctor I went to see, Dr Alison Geddes (sp?), is a locum at the practice. I wanted to enroll (as I am new to NZ), so I arrived early, to ensure I was on-time to see my new Doctor. Well, I sat and sat...waiting a total of 1h 25m to see her. When I finally got called into the room, I felt she was rushing, as she knew she had a lot of other people waiting outside, so I instantly didn't feel at ease. I was there to get some pain medication for my cracked root canal tooth, and I wanted to find out if it was possible to get some anti-anxiety tablets to help with this massive move away from my family (who are all back in South Africa). Well, from that point on she treated my like a drug-abuser trying to get my next score! I felt extremely offended when I left her room. I went to the desk to pay - not saying a word (because I was clearly upset). While I am busy paying, the Doctor calls the receptionist who is taking my payment and tells her to tell me that 'she doesn't think this practice is the right fit for me' - I am absolutely gobsmacked; if anyone should feel offended, it's me - I waited over an hour to see her, she treated me extremely poorly, rushed me through my appointment because she was running so late and then accuses me of just wanting drugs! I would like to remind YOU, Doctor, you took a hippocractic oath to do no harm.....and you treated me terribly. Shame on you!
