::Excellent coffee and service. A Wide selection of homemade baked goods and foods. Friendly staffs. You can virtually see them cooking and baking. The only downside is that wifi is not available.

::Best cheese scones in NZ. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Only little thing they could improve is by giving you a table number as to avoid confusion when your order is ready.

::A quirky and cosy cafe, central to everything but not encroached on by the hustle and bustle of the centre of town. Reliably good (though expensive) coffee - Havana beans, though the food is the real star here. The menu changes daily and you will need to inspect the counter to see what is available. There's a good variety of sandwiches, muffins, cakes, samosas, cookies, salads, filos and other sweet or savoury items, made on premises to unique recipes. The gluten free/dairy free/vegan options are clearly labelled and the prices are quite reasonable. The space also doubles as an art exhibition area - the displayed works are for sale, providing visibility for local artists. Downsides: the inside space is tiny, so if it's busy you might have a hard time getting seated (they do have takeaway) and maximum at one table is 4 people. The queue can be long at busy times. There's no table service. The outside tables can be windy and noisy. Still, this is one of the cafes that shows the real Wellington and it's a treasure.

::Love deluxe. Great choice of food here, lots of vegan &vegetarian option, great coffee. Have never been disappointed. It's quite sink, limited seating inside, maybe 25 at a push. 4 bigger tables, maybe sit 4 and 5 little wall tables. Some seating outside.

::Deluxe was really crowded when I walked by on a Sunday, so I figured it would be good. I was not disappointed. Had a delicious filo pastry, rhubarb tart, and great espresso. If vegetarian options put you off, you'll discover they can be terrific if you try one here (trust me, I'm an omnivore).
