Ordered a phone in because they don’t carry the stock. Said it would be in Friday or Monday latest. I followed up Friday after no contact and was told the distributor doesn’t have it in stock, and I can “try again” for next Friday. But they “won’t know if it’s coming until Friday”. What a shambles.

From my personal experience... Ordered a mobile online was impressed with the prompt communication and meticulous nature in which the online transaction and shipping was handled. Received my purchase the next day in the South Island. Very pleased overall.

After noticing the glass screen on my Galaxy S6 starting to peel I took my phone to be repaired under the extended warranty I had purchased for it. However it was rejected and now I am required to pay a $45 inspection fee because apparently I have caused this with excessive heat or water. I have never exposed my phone to any heat greater than being in my pocket or in my hand or dropped it in water. To me it seems like the resin has failed under normal use and parallel imported are simply avoiding the repair costs. Conveniently they don't need to provide any proof to refuse a warranty repair. Looking at the previous reviews it looks like this certainly isn't the first example of unjust warranty cover rejection. I do not see the purpose of purchasing an extended warranty if this is how they will go about it.

Don't buy from Parallel Imported. I bought a Galaxy Edge 7 through them, had ongoing problems, experienced extremely poor service and they failed to honour warranty obligations. Paid for battery repair as they alleged the fault was caused by accident damage. When I got the phone back some three weeks after taking it in it had a pink line down the screen and battery wouldn't charge to 100%. They then refused to fix this claiming this too was due to accident damage. Complete RIP Off.
