::Reading Cinema is a very nice movie theatre and isn't pricey for the people on a budget. They are a reasonably large cinema with 10 + movie rooms, seating over 100 people in each. I went to see the film Breaker Uppers which was an NZ comedy, the screen was very large with great sound quality. Also noted that they sell ice cream, pop corn and drinks at the counter and have a large range of movies throughout the day including comedy, action, drama, kids show etc. Under the cinema is a large new and very contemporary seating area with a huge range of take away places including McDonalds, Wendys, Asian style foods and so on. Definitely recommend this cinema, and perfect for all walks of life.

::Love the on site electronic ticket machine. Movie ran on time and the seats were comfortable. What more do you need?

::comfy seats, friendly staff. sure it's just a cinema but the sound was good, the screen in the cinema I was in was a great size and buying tickets was simple. I didn't get hassled about buying extra candy bar or upsizing my popcorn.

::The bleakness of reading cinemas is astounding. I love that you can get movie tickets for $10 but it is actually such a weird place to go now. Seating isn't super comfortable but there is ample legroom for a tall person. Food is lacking.

::This is the only theatre I am familiar with in Wellington. It is a big complex with 12 screens to cater for all customers. There's easy access to the upper level for all. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. An ideal place to take the grandchildren on a wet day.
