  Manager is very rude,does not answer questions directly.im sure he has some sort of mental condition.the room was satisfactory but the beds were a bit too soft.unless there is a change of management I would not recommend this place to anybody,and I would definitely not stay there again myself.if you work in the hospitality industry you must have people skills,the manager here had none at all.i would have given a 1 star rating but the location was too good for that

  This bed and breakfast has pretty rooms and a very full selection of Vogels cereals for breakfast. The bathroom was compact and the shower had good hot water supply and pressure. Parking is looked after using a dashboard voucher provided on arrival. It is close enough to town to walk to restaurants etc. I found the bed too soft so did not get a good sleep as a result of that.

  This place has potential, that's for sure. They are in the process of remodeling and updating the house and rooms. We stayed in room 11, which has already been updated. It was very clean and well done. The daughter of the owner was great checking us in and showing us around. He father, the owner, really must learn the hospitality side of running a guest house/bed and breakfast. He was extremely rude to me during breakfast service (which is cereal, milk, and juice). I spilt several drops of milk from my cereal bowl onto the old floor as I was walking to a table. He got upset about it. When my husband asked for something so I could wipe it up. He came from around the kitchen counter and told me to get out of his way. Then he muttered, "Geez, Woman!" as he left the room to get a rag from somewhere else. It took about 2 seconds to clean it up. I wanted to just leave the darn bowl of cereal untouched and leave (we were checking out that morning anyway), but I didn't because that would have been rude. I would NOT recommend this place to family or friends.

  For a bed and breakfast feel a pretty good place. Room was clean and fresh towels daily. Breakfast was cereal or toast. Great place if you spend the days exploring Wellington. Nice central location to come back to

  Centrally located, with several places to shop and eat within walking distance. The owner, John, is warm and welcoming; with useful insights about the locale. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Very good value for money!
