  As a solo female traveller - I felt very comfortable and relaxed in this backpackers. I took a single room - bed and pillows were perfect. Slept like a baby. Right in town and close to shops/grocery/restaurant/i-site. They offer some discounts/specials on attractions around town and tours. When I checked in - I was given a great map w highlighted walking tour around town. Very helpful. Thanks for the great stay!

  This place is brilliant. It's a very cool querky building. There's baths...in a backpackers! The kitchen is the best I've seen in an NZ backpackers. All the knives are sharp. Neil, the owner, is a very nice guy. Oh, and the WiFi is brilliant! Stay here!!

  Great backpackers! Very friendly and helpful hosts who helped us book activities. Fast wifi and clean shared spaces. Would stay again

  Single beds rather than bunks, always clean, friendly and helpful staff , central location, lovely spar pool and a decent Price. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

  Great hostel for families and backpackers who need a relaxing home! - Free and fast WiFi - Hot tub and laundry (open till 11pm and laundry is $4 each machine and there's lines for drying if you don't want to use the dryer) - Stocked kitchen (always open but for 11-12pm for cleaning) - Quite hours at 11pm (be respectful of families and tired travelers!) - Loads of toilets and hot showers (there's also a bath tub upstairs) - Clean! - Dorms are a good size and beds are comfortable - TV room with tons of movies (TV shuts down at 11pm) - Free parking (8 spots and a section in the middle of the road that's free to the public. Otherwise, parking is $2 a day.) Great place to free like you're at home!
