Dr Dazell is not only rude but a poor doctor. I saw her about a rash on my torso that wouldn't go away with over the counter treatments. She dismissed it as eczema. After it still didn't go away I returned to my GP who sent me to another skin doctor who actually did a scraping (why didn't she do this?) and found out it was not eczema but something else completely.A waste of my time and money.

I have now had 2 laser treatments with Irene at the Wellington clinic and have been impressed not just with the results but with Irene’s care, professionalism and warmth. She’s an exceptionally skilled therapist and her recommendations for treatment have really given me wonderful results. But more than that, she takes the time to really understand you and your hopes for your skin as well as provide skilled advice and manage expectations. She has a wonderful approach to treatment, making you feel comfortable and confident in her ability and completely at ease. She gently explains what is happening at each step, regularly checking in and always eager to know if you have any questions or concerns. It’s refreshing! And her personality is just the icing on the cake – she’s a delight to spend time with and you I walk away feeling better about my skin as well as feeling I’ve spent time with someone that cares about my wellbeing. There is nothing ‘transnational’ about my appointments. She’s warm and professional and I have absolute trust in her. Well done SI- Wellington and Irene!

Absolutely amazing. I saw Dr Shona Dalzell for a full body mole check and she was great, very very thorough check, I highly recommend The Skin Institute and Dr Dalzell. Will certainly be going here for my yearly check.

I've had a really good experience with their filler injections. I had fillers around my laugh line and chin. Hanna was really nice and experienced.

I approached Skin Institute in hope to understand more about my facial redness as it is not like any other skin condition. I advised the specialist that what I am currently doing is working for me and showed him my progress photos. In return, he decided to focus on something that wasn't a problem for me before...my scars...and he just prescribed heavy drugs to prevent further acne. I was shocked he prescribed something so heavy without even doing any testing . He said only acne could cause such scars which in fact it did not...it was a general skin damage from the things he didn't even bother to ask about. I was super disappointed with the lack of analysis and examination that I was hoping for...and I was super disappointed with how he made me feel about my scars when it wasn't even a problem to me. I was very shocked by lack of questions (no questions whatsoever) to understand my skin condition. I am not a Dermatologist but I have a much better understanding of what my skin condition is and the actual redness I am concerned about is not acne as it goes away with running and doing other things...but hey...he didn't even bother asking?. This specialist should really question the value he offers and what 'specialist' really means. I could have gone to a GP to get same drug prescription and pay $60 instead of $320! I went to Skin Institute for a particular goal (get more information) and instead of that, the guy chose to focus on something else that seemed to be the biggest problem to him and made me feel pretty awful for the rest of the day. Super disappointed by lack of examination and analysis and being treated with a 'blanket' approach - the drug may heal everything and anything with 100 different side effects/it doesn't matter what the root cause is or what the condition really is but hey lets give it a go.... Pretty dangerous.
