::🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you want Tom Ford scent, come here. The staff really know their products and they represent the standards of this historic Queen Street store. I needed chocolates as a gift of thanks. Smith and Caughey is always the inner city place to get such tasty treats. This store is special. No Auckland mall compares with S and C's customer service. Kitchen and food departments on top floor are outstanding. Very good value. I have bought all my kitchen gear here. Not as pricey as some people think it is. S and C offers great value for money.

::It's one of the premier luxury boutiques in Auckland that stocks a lot of overseas brands all in one spot. Think Farmers but a pricier range. On that note, staff are incredibly helpful and do not tend to "hover" unnecessarily if you're just browsing, which is nice.

::A beautiful department store in Auckland which is very similar to Nordstrom and David Jones. The window displays are stunning and entice you in the door. We had a pleasant afternoon pottering around this store, which has a lovely atmosphere. We purchased cosmetics and fragrances. They stock some really lovely mid range and high end clothing brands. I look forward to returning here, without the hubby, so that I can explore this lovely impressive store much further.

::A very posh department store in New Zealand. However, the staff members needs a lot more education regarding customer service. I bought a leather gloves, and after put them on my hands twice that night some of the sewing got undone by itself. Brought it back to the shop, and instead of remedying the issue, the staff member told me that it's normal; he also adds "even Armani suits will be like that." I never realise that Smith & Caughey's product will be worn out in a flash, and as per their employee's statement, Armani suits will be damaged after being worn twice. A very-very bad shopping experience.

::Always enjoy the ambience and cafe on the top floor. The wine and whiskey corner is worth a visit. only thing I don't like is staff .. very snobbish and they are masters at racial profiling I have never been attended properly by the staff but still love the store for it's ambience .
