  This is not a positive review, sorry guys. Staff incorrectly took our order, so the chef didn't send out the extras we were expecting with our meals. You can no longer order half or full rack of ribs, which was disappointing.. what we were each served was a small portion of ribs with extremely dry meat, so while the flavours were great, it was very difficult to eat. When our side order eventually came out, it was a small and wilted salad with the wrong dressing on top. We certainly expected much more for our money, and Uncle Mike's unfortunately did not deliver. This place has lost it's wow factor, with no update to the decor, way too bright lighting in the restaurant, someone skipping through music halfway through songs the entire time we were there, very dirty bathrooms and staff who seemed untrained. We won't be going back, and will not be recommending this place to friends.

  Fantastic place to eat, food was amazing and one of the ribs dish was even imported from Chicago! The decor was fitting for a ribs restaurant and the price of the food was spot on. Staff were very nice, after meeting Uncle Mike he showed us his smoker that he had to take half the kitchen wall apart to get it in! If you are looking for some ribs or BBQ meat you can't go past Uncle Mikes City BBQ.

  We ordered the $60 meat platter, 1 rib, 2 chicken and 1 bit of meat and little bit of pulled pork. Disappointing platter, not worth that amount. We said to the amazing staff, how disappointed we were. She agreed and was really genuine and explained how meat is very expensive and she apologised. She was great, she turned our experience around. She topped up the platter with spicy chicken and a rib. It was an expensive night, we wanted to treat ourselves. We'll be back again - but we'll order something else. Thanks ladies and staff and cooks!

  I really like this place. Have been a dozen times and always enjoy the experience. They do the best buffalo wings I have ever tried. The cowboy dinner is also great. The burgers are pretty good but if you’re coming here then the meat dishes are where it’s at. Slow cooked and super tasty. I feel it is a proper American style restaurant in both size of meals and friendliness of staff.
