You won't need to spend long trying to make choices because you really only have 2: either the daily Madeline mini cakes or a full size Japanese cheesecake. You must note though, for Westeners, these cheesecakes are more like egg-based poundcake meets muffin, and you'll need some water after as it's all fairly dry, despite being very fluffy. Line is extremely short now at least

Its totally worth the hype. Absolutely love the cakes. They are light and taste awesome. Definitely worth trying.

Taste of cheesecake and madeleines were so nice. Sweetness is good. Perfect for small gift to bring a friend’s house party or something. However compared to the price, they are not giving you that much special taste nor texture. You can easily bake your own and get same taste. Once is enough and happy to try. :)

Japanese style cheesecake is very different to th3 cheesecake that westerners are familiar with. Gone is the heavy cheese desert with lots of sweet toppings. Instead this style has an egg flavoured blandness. It's more like a sponge cake than cheesecake. But far moister than sponge. The flavoured variety like earl grey combine that moisture with subtle flavors. Definitely recommend you try one. The Earl Grey is my favorite. Not cheap though at $20 a cake but in line with the cost of most cakes this size.

Stopped by to pick up some since I was in town. The line looks quite long but it starts at the door and doesn't go into the shop. If you are just wanting the madeleines then you can head to the front of the queue, but if you were wanting the cheesecake then you have to wait in line. You pretty much wait in line for freshly baked cheesecake. Once a batch is ready then they sell one cheesecake per person for $19.99. Cheesecake is interesting but a bit too soft for my liking.
