  I had a fantastic experience with my SMILE laser surgery with the Wellington Eye Centre. From the pre-surgery suitability assessment, the surgery itself, to post-surgery follow-up and care, the whole service was exactly what I wanted. I had some minor issues following surgery and the the Centre provided free and very thorough follow-up care for as long as it took to sort the issue out. I would definitely recommend this place if you are considering LASIK or SMILE laser eye surgery.

  I had such a great experience with Wgtn Eye Centre. I had really bad vision (about -7 in my right eye and -6 in my left) and the amazing people at Wgtn Eye Centre were able to correct this with the 'SMILE' laser procedure, and I couldn't recommend the process highly enough. Everyone was so friendly and I felt really comfortable throughout. If you're scared or unsure about whether you should go ahead with laser I urge you to visit the team at Wgtn Eye Centre for a non obligation consult. It's the best thing I've done!

  I am very happy with the results of my laser surgery. Although I still wear glasses for small print reading, I am glasses-free for most of the time which is great. The follow-up service from Michelle has been exceptional. Thanks very much

  The procedure went well. I was particularly impressed with the post procedure reviews and follow-ups that I have received from Dr Logan and Michelle Jefferies. They have been super patient clarifying any questions I may have. I would highly recommend Wellington Eye Centre for all. What's more, the other staff (reception and other clinical staff) I have talked to in the past have consistently shown professionalism and kindness throughout their interactions. Thank you all for your efforts, I so much appreciate that.

  Getting SMILE laser eye surgery was probably one of the best and most exciting life changes I've ever made. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner...! I love having perfect vision, free of the hassle and expense of contacts or glasses. Now I can jump into the sea, run in the rain (!) and sleep out under the stars, unencumbered. To anyone even vaguely thinking of getting laser surgery: do it. You won't regret it. The service I got from Wellington Eye Centre was impeccable from start to finish. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, informative and reassuring. I felt in very safe hands the whole time. The surgery itself was quicker than I'd expected. I'll be honest - it's a bizarre experience! Not painful, just briefly uncomfortable and odd. But again, I felt safe and the results have been amazing. The aftercare I received in the year following the surgery was thorough and supportive and quickly became like visiting old friends...! I had a few nervous moments in the first couple of months where my eye irritation flared up a little, but the experts were always on hand to give advice and I could schedule an extra appointment whenever I wanted. The eye irritation, by the way, was normal and to be expected. With time and the helpful suggestions and ministrations of Michelle and Dr Logan the irritation reduced and disappeared. Believe me, it's worth putting up with a little dry-eye for results like I've got!
