::A great place for a stroll through a reserve. Very relaxing to hear the birds singing all around you. Very fun for kids to spot all the different types of birds. The display area is also very informative. A great way to spend the day.

::Definitely worth going! Great price, helpful staff and well mapped out clearly showing the 3 different walks you can take. The 1st walk is suitable is for any age and fitness ability and we saw loads of birds.

::I chose a beautiful day for my first visit to this wonderful nature reserve not far from the centre of Wellington. There were plenty of visitors but also plenty of room for everyone. There is birdsong everywhere, even on the walk from the bus stop. You can take gentle, easy paths or slightly more ambitious ones or go for a full hike. I started with a delightful ride on the electric boat. There are informative signs all over the place. I loved it.

::Lovely experience. Helping time each walk/section takes for those that are elderly or limited for time.. Thank you for caring for our precious wildlife....

::It was very relaxed for a walk in the forest. There are three path in total for different species. I didn’t go to the third path because I came in at 15:30 and walk fast in order to catch the last shuttle bus. It would be nice if there is a tour guide. I didn’t see many birds at that time. Didn’t see the kiwi birds because they slept in the day time. Should book a night tour. We bought a kiwi doll. If you love natural places you can come here for a walk.
