  prices are okay. staff is friendly but not always professional. the most annoying thing is that you have to pay and an extra extra insurance when you cant pay the very high bond in this case when you have already payed the full risk insurance that you have no own costs..for me is that a way to make money with you on an hidden way. in this moment when you want to get the car then realized you this. good is the pick up and the pick off service for free. round about 5 km or 15 min far away. but the last time i have to wait for this 25 minutes and the way by car needed only 5 minutes. i called the agency 30 minutes before i was there. that was annoying too.

  The out of hours drop off facility is helpful and they are open from 7 am to 6 pm. I couldn't verify the 7 am opening as I got there at 9 am. But when I arrived I found that customers were being made to wait for a long time as their cars were not ready. In my case, I was advised that my car was on a truck from the airport depot. Other customers were made to wait while their car was being cleaned. Ace rentals do have an online booking system, which gives them upfront visibility and so these delays are not acceptable in the 21st century. If open from 7 am, it isn't hard to get the trucks to deliver the cars at 8 am and clean them to make it ready for a customer who wants to pick up at 9 am? A competing car rental company in the same area cleans cars upon return. When writing this review, I along with almost 15 other customers are still waiting for the cars for more than 30 minutes. I can hear the sound of the water hose from the cleaning which is going on.... Will update after I actually get the car!

  After confirming my booking they sent me a mail 3 hours after saying that all was Booked. Even like that they took the payment, saying I would get it back. Is one week already and I’m still waiting. I find unacceptable to cancel my booking at will, the obvious fact that my money is still not been back, and finally that they did not look for giving any alternative, as they have another ship in the airport and they had cars available there at that time.

  Super friendly staff. We first got a car with some motorproblems, as we returned we got another car within 5‘. The cars are not the best and newest, but we made it trough NZ with it. Would book there again!

  非常差的服务，说好7点取车，现在都等了一个半小时还没有人，打电话居然说11点才有人！失望透顶
