  My wife and I absolutely loved our visit here. The house is beautiful and was the perfect setting for our mid week getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. As this is an historic house which has had much work out into it, be respectful of the property. Would definitely visit again next time we're in Dunedin.

  So Good when we visited last year we knew we would return. A Beautiful home lovingly looked after with fantastic hospitality from Carol and Richard.

  A wonderful experience, right in the center of Dunedin, no car needed everything is at walking distance. The house is a beautiful, artfully decorated, charming mansion from the 19th century. But there is more, the delightful owner, Carole, is attentive to every detail, from the delicate scent to the perfect room temperature, from the comfortable bedding to the colors of the drapes, from the paintings on the walls to the discrete yet inspired music played at breakfast. Not only does the Bard house take you to the past century it also takes you to a special place inside yourself which I can only describe as a childhood memory.
