Just picked up my new bike. The team spent an hour getting everything setup on the bike to suit me. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Really great experience. Mans was a great help getting me through the process of choosing the right bike for my stage of fitness and one the I can grow with. The fitment to the bike was great as well getting the bike set to my build. I must admit I was hesitant with spending the money BUT it is worth it. What a difference. Thanks to the team there, much appreciated.

Store is super busy and staff are really friendly. Had my bikes serviced here many times and always great service. Recommend anyone to go see these guys.

Perhaps the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I agreed to a basic maintenance for my bike which was quoted at $85. I hadn't heard from them for a week (they had written my number down wrong) and I called cycle science a week later and was quoted $340. I asked them to send the quote to my email so that I could consider whether or not to have the extra work done, and left my phone number correctly as well as my email address. Nobody sent a quote. I emailed them two days later and asked for the quote. Nobody replied. Two days on, I called the workshop again and requested the quote to be told by the boy on the phone that he would look in to it and email it to me. This never happened and I never received or approved a quote from cycle science despite requesting this three times. The following morning I received an email to say the work had been done on my bike and that it would cost me $485. baring in mind this is $400 more than I consented to pay for the service. When I called the shop to talk to the owner Brent about this issue and explained all of the above; he essentially denied all culpability and blamed me for what he perceived might have been my poor communication. As outlined above, I bent over backwards to communicate with Cycle Science.

Went in seeking expert advice regarding mudguards for my small frame Trek dual sport e-bike, I didn't have my bike with me, but had told the staff member what type of bike I have and even double checked if I should come back with my bike. He recommended a particular set of mudguards which unfortunately upon installation by my partner we discovered the front guard hit the bike frame. I decided not to take it back because I'd tried previously to get suitable mudguards (from another bike shop) and was frustrated at yet again being given an incorrect advice. Fast forward 1 week and the front mudguard fell off, I was able to re-attach it, but I popped back into the bike shop (with my bike), I was immediately unimpressed when the female staff member asked someone form the workshop to assist me I heard from the workshop: "That sounds like a job for a man!" While the guy who I spoke to was helpful, he showed me an e-bike and the type of mudguard that would be best, he offered to arrange for it to be brought from another shop. However, he also said I'd need to speak with the manager about a refund of the wrong mudguard, he took my details and said I'd be called back - I wasn't, I phoned him. No refund as I'd used the mudguard. The mudguard that had been recommended. The manager had no interest in making things right. I'm fairly new to riding regularly, and I'm keen to spend money on getting the right equipment for me and my bike. I just won't ever be doing it at Cycle Science ever again.
