  Great car (Rav4) that we rented during our holiday in Queenstown. Some issues involving alleged damage after return of the vehicle that was looking like a classic tourist rip-off. However after lengthy discussions with staff and management, common-sense prevailed as it was clear that the damage could not have been caused by ourselves. Good people and satisfied with the outcome. Some of the systems around checking of vehicles could be better from both the company and ourselves however. Would still recommend though!

  Be careful foreigners theses guys are thieves.I Rent a car for 2 days, bring it back as it was when we pick it up (i have pictures or the car to testify). 3 weeks later my bank account has been debited from budget nz without any notice,mail or call. Of course i'm not in NZ anymore and ils hard to reach them to claim the money back (but i will, even if i have to get a lawyer involve). This is purr robbery... Shame on you guys. DO NOT RENT WITH BUDGET if you're a FOREIGN TOURIST.

  Turn up they start saying I booked somewhere else and had to pay an airport tax. I didn't I was careful. Then they charge my card before even telling me what for or how much. Now after the rental is over this still in confusion. This will be a fight I am sure. Be very careful with these guys. They try and hit you for any small mark. Take photos. Be very very careful I ordered a mid size SUV. The thing was tiny. Joke tiny. I have never seen anything so small. I will never use again And staff were rude. You guys are the first point of contact for many visitors to Queenstown and set the tone. Trying being good and friendly. Even in a tourist rich town I think you will increase profits.

  Fast and friendly service. Moderately priced and quality vehicles. Be sure to check the vehicle before and after use to ensure their are any claims for damage after.
