::Budget is absolutely lazy and unprofessional regarding the Wellington Ferry terminal. There is no Budget employee/attendant at the rental car returns area in the mornings. Their rental car return lot is full and customers have no idea where to park or what to do in this situation. You have to rely on other car rental companies’ attendants to ask them where to park. We had to talk to an extremely rude and racist Europcar attendant to ask him where to park since the Budget car lot was full...his extremely rude attitude ruined our otherwise good trip to New Zealand...thanks for that Budget. If Budget cared about their customers’ experiences, they would at least hire one person to take care of customers at the Wellington Ferry terminal. Come on Budget...really???

::Roderick gave you one star after being yelled at by someone who worked at Hertz. It sounds like he may be confused and does not understand how to review companies. I would like to review Roderick: No stars.

::Told to park anywhere in car rental area by car park attendant. He pointed at Hertz spot as all Budget spaces were full. He said they all shared spaces anyway. Parked and went to Budget desk. Explained where we were parked & why. He said that was ok. On returning to the car to pick up my wife & luggage a very irate Hertz girl told us to move it or she would tow it away. At our expense. Nothing we said was of any interest. So it’s now parked in the public car park where Budget chap, although I told him where it was, wont find it for ages & I’ll probably be charged extra. Wonderful experience at Wellington Harbour.

::Well, it is the most disappointing of my entire trip to New Zealand. A very small terminal, with nothing to eat around and out of the way (it has a machine like those for chocolates, cold sandwiches and soft drinks), in the middle of a madness of truck traffic and entrance and exit of the pier. And that of Picton, with its small size, turns it a thousand times. Basically because you have shops and places to eat very close
